Looking at the contents listing, it looks like about half of the book is interviews. Seems maybe a bit excessive, though most of the interviews seem interesting.

The interviews are included at the end of most chapters, but don’t make up the whole thing. They’re nice additions to what looks otherwise like a pretty basic text. From the sample chapters, I don’t really see much new ground broken, or any new clearer synthesis of the usual principles and methods. Seems like a good intro text for a college class, if paired with other texts.
