		<description>Yeah, Java wasn't the best idea. They're hopefully ditching it for that interactive prototyping class I mentioned, likely based around Flash MX - you'd be amazed how prevalent Director still is here in academialand though.

		<description>Geez, Java? So you work for like 6 weeks to learn how to draw a circle on the screen, right? This is the kind of thing that reminds me of the job postings for UI designers who need five years Java Swing coding experience. 

Did *any* student come out of the class with the ability to quickly code up a prototype of a design idea? Shouldn't that be a criteria for evaluating the class?</description>
