I left my heart…
I haven’t even been in Cambridge for a week and already I’m leaving again. I’ll be in San Francisco and other Bay Area locales for the next week, meeting new and old friends as well as attending the DUX conference.
I won’t be blogging the conference, but I will have my Hiptop/Sidekick, so drop me an email (in the sidebar to your right) or AIM (cthornton251) if you want to make plans to meet up.

Yeah, we did a little four-handed knitting during one of the conference sessions (just kidding, though she is quite the knitter).
We had food and drinks in a few places down in the mission. Amongst our many topics of discussion was how to improve contact between interaction grad programs - especially that between CMU and Ivrea. Hopefully she can help out with our nascent efforts to get a bit of communication and collaboration going.
I saw another one of your professors - Jan-Christoph Zoels - as well. You’ve got some talented teachers over there.

hey chad, great seeing you at DUX in SF…glad you had a good time meeting up with your old crew :) funny you mention Jan-Cristophe; he was the man who set me on my path, way back at a summer design course at RISD in 95. i’m sure he’s helped others ’see the light’ of design, too :) talented and inspiring, cool to see him present and catch up with him afterwards–he even remembered me, which surprised me only cuz he seems so busy and fairly well known guy around the world.
